Working in international projects often means communicating across different institutions, professional backgrounds and working cultures. What seems clear to one person may be understood very differently by another.
In this short practical workshop, Hana Skljarszka (CEO of the Academy of Critical Thinking) will show the participants how to formulate messages clearly, check mutual understanding and use critical thinking and listening to prevent communication gaps. We will also look at how language, context and different working styles influence collaboration in international teams. Using short project-based examples and exercises, participants will practise simple communication techniques they can immediately use when coordinating tasks, discussing responsibilities or solving misunderstandings across teams and work packages.
