We are pleased to share a recap of the kick-off meeting for the INVEST European University, an Erasmus+ project aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation among partner institutions. The meeting took place from January 22nd to January 24th, 2024, in Reims, France.

Day 1: The meeting commenced with welcome remarks from the President of URCA (University of Reims Champagne Ardenne) and an introduction from the project coordinator of SUA (Slovak University of Agriculture). Attendees were introduced to each participating university's delegation, followed by presentations outlining the project's objectives and work packages. The day concluded with exchange discussions and a cocktail reception at Pommery Champagne Cellar.

Day 2: The kick-off event featured opening addresses from the President of URCA and a presentation of the project by the Slovak University of Agriculture. Messages from key stakeholders, including the European Commission and the French Ministry of Higher Education, were also delivered. Panel discussions explored the opportunities and challenges of the INVEST European Alliance, as well as expectations and benefits for the academic community. The event concluded with a work meeting focused on project deliverables and governance structure.

Day 3: The final day included discussions on the project's global timeline, mitigation measures proposed in the Grant Agreement, and upcoming deliverables. The meeting concluded with a focus on INVEST governance structure, administrative, and budgetary issues.
