Nowadays sustainability and responsibility are affecting on every industry. Event management makes no exception. The impelementation of sustainable development goals is one way to enhance the responsibility of the events. In this webinar we will learn how to organise a sustainable event and how to communicate about the responsibility actions to different stakeholders. Sustainable development objectives, actions and their evaluation should be transparent and different type of certificates togehther with responsibility communication has an important role in it. In the webinar we will get an inspiring example from Tampere Hall which is a forerunner in sustainable congress and meeting organising in Finland.

Sustainability and responsibility are key values for INVEST partners in our research, development and innovation activities. In this webinar, several experts will discuss on current topics as following:
- Senior researcher, Dr. Kristiina Väänänen (Karelia UAS) will give an overview on different aspects of sustainability and responsibility in RDI.
- Research funding coordinator Riitta Tegelberg (University of Eastern Finland) will discuss on how to incorporate these aspects when applying external project funding, focusing on EU-funded projects.
- Finally, Senior project manager Juha Väyrynen (Karelia UAS) will share practical example of a project, where sustainability and responsibility were incorporated for the whole lifespan of the project.
