On Tuesday, 3 October, nearly 100 people attended the "INVEST in Regional Impact" symposium of the European Universities’ partnership INVEST. In Velp, The Netherlands, Slovak, Bulgarian, Finnish, Greek and Dutch partners showcased the achievements of three years of intensive cooperation.  

 The extraordinarily inspiring event brought together eminent speakers, including representatives of INVEST Academia, national authorities, stakeholders and students, to discuss key topics such as:

  • Regional transitions
  • Promoting cross-border entrepreneurship
  • Dutch challenges in European transnational education and research
  • Connecting education with regional development through Living Labs
  • Connecting research to regional ecosystems through Living Labs

The symposium was followed by a two-day workshop (4, 5 Oct) on the development of transition pathways corresponding to INVEST intervention regions and themes.

 The participation of all stakeholders contributed immensely to the rich discussions and shared insights, thanks to everyone who attended!
