What makes international university projects succeed—and what gets in the way? Drawing on practical lessons from the first year of working within the INVEST European University Alliance, this interactive lecture explores the essential do’s and don’ts of project management in international academic collaboration.
From building trust and clarifying responsibilities to avoiding communication breakdowns, unproductive meetings, and rigid planning, the session offers practical advice, relatable examples, and a touch of humour. Participants will discover how to navigate different institutional cultures, manage expectations, adapt to change, and focus on lasting impact—not just deliverables.
