INVEST ALLIANCE VISION PRESENTED AT HRDC EVENT BY UARD
The INVEST European University Alliance was recently represented at an event hosted by the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), where Assoc. Prof. Dr. Delyan Plachkov from the University of Agribusiness and Rural Development (UARD) presented the alliance’s vision and ongoing achievements.
The presentation highlighted how INVEST partners are working together to transform higher education and career guidance across Europe. A key focus was placed on the successful career guidance practices developed at UARD, which are now being scaled at European level through the INVEST digital platform, EDUC8EU. This platform enables personalised academic and career guidance, supporting students in navigating their learning pathways more effectively.
The event also showcased INVEST’s broader contribution to educational innovation, emphasising a shift towards active mentoring and the development of “new skills for new jobs.” Through this approach, the alliance aims to better align education with the evolving needs of the labour market.
In addition, participants were introduced to INVEST’s modern learning ecosystem, which includes innovative tools and initiatives such as micro-credentials, Living Labs, and the INVEST Fellow Programme. These elements collectively support flexible, skills-oriented, and practice-based learning experiences.
Through strong collaboration among its partners, the INVEST Alliance continues to go beyond traditional education models, contributing to the development of sustainable futures and successful career pathways for students across Europe.
