From 20th to 24th April 2026, the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne is organising a Blended Intensive Programme for staff. This week will be focused on European projects as part of the INVEST Centre of Excellence (CoE), which was launched in November 2025.

A programme based on capacity-building

Gathering early-career and senior researchers as well as administrative staff from the INVEST alliance universities, this week is designed to upskill members of the INVEST CoE and to turn theoretical into tangible. The main objectives of this Blended Intensive Programme are to:

  • Enhance the technical and strategic competencies of participants in navigating the complex European landscape
  • Make the European Union a tangible reality
  • Increase future collaboration between the INVEST CoE members
  • Learn how to decypher Horizon Europe calls

The programme will include sessions alternating between training sessions with the Taskforce on Networking Opportunities (TNO) and the Taskforce on Funding Opportunities (TFO), as well as practical exercises on Horizon calls and matchmaking, laboratories visits, a “speed meeting” to engage with INVEST CoE researchers and a final day in Brussels.

The aim of this final day is to enable INVEST partners and participants to strengthen their connections within the European institutions, taking advantage of the strategic position of the French partner of the alliance, close to Brussels. This last day is designed as an immersive and practical conclusion to make the European Union’s governance and operational reality concrete.
