Welcome to the third webinar in the Fellow Programme series on workplace wellbeing: Advancing Workplace Wellbeing Through Employee Involvement. In this session, we explore how inclusion, participation, and meaningful encounters shape healthier and more connected work communities.

Involvement Builds Wellbeing – Hanna Vienonen, Lecturer, Karelia University of Applied Sciences
Hanna Vienonen has spent six years teaching courses on this topic, coaching work communities, and contributing as an expert in various projects. In her talk, Hanna explores the roles of inclusion and participatory practices in promoting workplace wellbeing.  Hanna believes that the experience of inclusion increases well-being, psychological security, trust in the future and one's own possibilities. 
 
HR Beyond Processes – from Coffee Room Conversations to Creating Community - Aino Päivinen, HRD Specialist, Karelia University of Applied Sciences 
Aino Päivinen
holds a Master’s degree in Education with a strong focus on social sciences. She will explore why meaningful encounters, open dialogue, and communication are the cornerstones of HR. In the webinar, she will share practical examples from Karelia UAS that strengthen staff involvement and build a sense of community across the organization.
