WRAPPING UP THE 2025 INVEST WINTER SCHOOL: "AI-ENABLED EARLY INNOVATION"!

Nurmes & Joensuu, Finland – The 2025 INVEST Winter School has come to a successful close after an incredible week filled with collaboration, innovation, and exploration. Students from the INVEST universities gathered to explore the potential of AI for innovations, discover new ideas, and enjoy the beautiful Finnish winter landscapes.

The highlight of the week was the pitching event at Karelia UAS, where student teams presented their new ideas for the Winter Schools case companies. It was great to see so much creativity and teamwork in action!

A big thank you to all participants, mentors, and organizers for making this Winter School such a success. The journey of innovation continues with the upcoming INVEST Summer School, which will have its own unique theme. INVEST will host Winter and Summer Schools twice a year (one Winter and one Summer School annually), providing opportunities for learning, collaboration, and innovation for all students from INVEST universities.
