BRINGING INVEST TO GREEK HIGH SCHOOLS: INSPIRING THE NEXT GENERATION
As part of its ongoing outreach activities, the University of Thessaly (UTH) launched a targeted information campaign in Greek high schools to introduce students to the opportunities offered by the INVEST European University Alliance. The initiative aimed to familiarise future university students with international study possibilities, emerging academic fields, and modern tools that support informed educational and career decisions.
During these visits, students were introduced to the vision of the INVEST alliance and the collaborative opportunities it creates across European universities. A central element of the presentations was EDUC8EU, the academic and career advising tool developed within the alliance. The platform helps students explore potential study pathways by analysing their interests, skills, and preferences, while also highlighting possible career directions connected to different fields of study.
The sessions combined short presentations with interactive demonstrations of the tool, allowing students to see how digital advising systems can support them in making more informed choices about their future studies. In this way, the activity not only introduced INVEST to prospective students but also showcased how innovation and technology can enhance academic guidance.
