This is the first webinar in the INVEST in YOU career support webinar series.
Understanding your strengths is the first step towards building a meaningful career. In this interactive webinar, participants will learn how to identify and appreciate the skills, experiences, strengths, and competences they have developed through studies, work, volunteering, hobbies, and everyday life. The session explores the difference between knowledge, skills, strengths, transferable skills, and competences, and helps participants recognise the value of their own unique background. Through practical self-reflection exercises, participants will identify their strengths, connect them to transferable skills, and gather evidence that can later be used in CVs, motivation letters, LinkedIn profiles, and job interviews.
The webinar also introduces strategies for analysing personal motivation, values, interests, and career goals, helping participants better understand what kind of work suits them and how to communicate their strengths effectively to employers. By the end of the session, participants will have created a personal strengths and evidence bank that can support future career planning and job search activities.
